Tensioners seized.

Hi is this something that can be stripped & corrected os is replacement nesasary
Many thanks
Just replace it. They're meant to have a fresh belt and tensioner every 3 years so it's worth doing. If you leave it, you run the risk of the aux belt snapping, wrapping around the crank pulley causing all sorts of expensive damage.

I stripped and cleaned up my tensioner. Easy job to have it back as good as new.

Hi thankyou for all your advice. After striping cleaning & rebuilding seems it was just adjusted incorrectly meaning the spring interfered with the belt. After also replacing the idler/deflection pully its now running smoothly many thanks for all your help
