Help me with a question please....

  Suzuki Swift Sport
I bought my Clio From Arnold Clark in November, I have it for 3 years just paying for it monthly then after the 3yrs i can either pay the remaining amount and keep it or just hand it in there and then.

however, im planning on doing small modification's to it within the 3 yrs eg lowering and allows, cd player, speakers etc. would they still accept the car if i hand it back in modified after the 3yrs?

possibly dependant if it voids the warrenty or if its depreciates the car more than normal .............bit of a tough question .?u need to ask them wot ur allowed to do ?

Trust me, you have to hand it back standard. I did the same with my 1.2 a year or so ago. As for warranty, anything you change will void the warranty on that area of the car. So if you lower it, anything related to the suspension will be void, same with the exhaust etc.

Just make sure you keep all the standard stuff you replace, then when you come to give it back, swap it all back over, and sell the modifications to someone else.

same if you lower it mate will void warrenty on suspension, unless however you used renault cup springs like i have! they wont even notice them and then you could either leave them on or replace them with the standard 172 springs again.

I personally feel warrenties arent worth a penny, you just edn up paying silly money anyway for little things and because they are main dealers they screw you even more, its cheaper for me to maintain my own car than it is too take it to renault!

We take any cars back in part ex even if they've had mod's. Just so long as it looks tasteful, and we think its retailable. Finance company don't even come into it, cos at the end of the day, its the garage that sells it, the finance company won't even come into it!
