Just to put things in perspective when comparing these companies.
These are my views from what I have been told/have experience with/see on the forum etc.. Alot of the time people just spout names out and have no idea whther the company is good or bad or what it specialises in.
Starting with the best...........
AWT(BenR) - He designs parts, builds engines, gas flows, understands the real science behind an engine. If you have read some of his posts you will know what I mean
. He has always had time for a chat and willing to explain things. To back this up I have his cams and inlet manifold and a sticker on my car! He has also set up the geometry on my car using a hand held gauge on an old concrete floor which when it was put on Northampton Motorsports laser alignment the camber was less then 0.02 out!
GDI who I have had most of my work done. Andy is a really nice guy and has always given me plenty of time. My car is getting there but its been 6months+.....
BBPT I have no experience of whatsoever so wont comment.
KTEC sell bits and kits FULL STOP.
YOZZASPORT Fred and Yozza are very helpful and have both answered my Qs through PMs etc. some quite detailed that have taken some time to write. They sell bits and Lohen do there engines/setup (I think). I stand corrected PM'd by Yozza
"Our workshop facility is outsourced - We have clio cup racer experienced mechanics and , but it is a fully prepped race workshop with full design, CNC, engine, welding, set-up and everything else on hand."
Shed nice to see someone new getting some quality bits sorted. Again they sell bits.
Stan* someone new again who I dont know much about so wont comment.
Hill Power seems to have a good rep has his own RR, maps the standard ECU. He never comes on the forum though and I dont know much about him or his work.
Mark Fish more of a suspension race car prep (cages) not into engines at all.
