Hello All,
I have recently bought a 172 cup a very nice one at that and a well cared for example, however it has had the cam belt and pulleys changed only about 2k miles ago in which I have the receipts for.
The dephaser wasn't changed and I am suspicious its making a small noise on tick over (Nothing too drastic at this stage but I am confident it is the dephaser that is making the noise) Like I said its nothing crazy like a diesel engine lol but I think its the start of it going fully in the near future.
My question is - If I take my car to a specialist can the dephaser alone be changed or would it all need re doing?
What is the cost of a dephaser pulley change??
