  Racing Blue 182

As sunwin renaukt in bradford failed to provide me with a manual for my 182 i dont know what any of thedash lights mean.

My car is playing up big time today, when i put my foot flat nothing happens for about 10 seconds and then all of a sudden it kicks in. its like having the speed limiter on but i havnt.

on the way home tonight was doing it again and this warning light came on,

What is it? (the bottom one on the right under the speed limiter one)

Was it cold when nothing wa happening when putting foot down?? If so this is an engine protection thing to let it warm up before you can rag it.

The bottom light is exhaust gas monitor warning light according to my manual.

Dipstick is on the front of the engine iirc

Dipsitck is under the projected bit at the front (behind the bonnet latch).

The bottom right light is an engine gas light, usually lined to cat problems.

I wouldnt worry about the lights - its happened a lot to peoples cars on here.

Just take it back, tell them to sort it and tell them to give u a manual!!

Mate... my warning lights came on like it was christmas every day. Usually when slowly braking in traffic and a whole array of them. Took it to renault and they had the cheek to acuse me of driving it too hard (in traffic !!!) However, renault didnt have a look at them and eventually they stopped coming on. These probs started at about 2000miles and the car has just had the 12k service and is fine so prob nothing to worry about.

just drove to work this morning, nothing happening when i set off again. just as if i had the speed limiter on at 10mph

stopped at some traffic lights and it was reving at bout 500 revs ( normaly revs bout 1000), was on the verge of stalling.

i had the light but it can come up for a number of reasons, so theres no point in randomly guessing.

Take it to renault.

Could be a misfire, I had the same thing on my previous car (non - Renault), it was really lumpy and felt like it was going to stall. As soon as the engine management system detected the misfire it put the CAT warning light on because unburnt fuel dumped into the exhaust can quickly render your cat useless.

If this is the case for your car its not recommended to drive it.
