Trafic 140dci
Fitted my christmas present today from the girlfriend which was some 90mm trumpets, reverie carbon back plate and pipercross airfilter.
Doing this involved taking the whole ITB setup off to scribe the airbox, so could be anything causing the problem. Personally i think the car needs a remap, as since the last map i'd already fitted a decat, 182 manifold, and different exhaust. But i'd of thought the car would run better than this, it's spluttering terribly.
Before i fitted my trumpet's i gave the car a quick start up without any to make sure it was running ok, as i knew once the trumpets were fitted i didn't particularly want to be taking them off as the allen bolts are awkward to get to, and can easily be rounded off. So i turned the key and it started lovely, although i didn't give it any throttle. So i put the trumpets on knowing the car was running fine. Went to start it up again with the trumpets on, and as i turned the key it spluttered and failed to start, so gave it some throttle and it spluttered to life. At this point it was spluttering very lumpy, tried revving it to see if it would come to life, but not alot of luck.
So i got my camera out and made a quick video:
Any idea's? Would of tried my old 40mm trumpets to see if it would still do it, but was running out of light.
Thanks
Lewis
