Help needed with Engine kill switch

I'm in need of some help with my kill switch for my Hill sprint 172. At the moment I have the positive from the battery going into the kill switch then into a junction box in the engine bay for the engine electric.

The problem is when you turn off the kill switch it kills the ignition but the engine stays running due to the alternator.

How does everyone have theirs wired up to kill everything?

You need to wire it in to the ignition via the 2 terminals on the bottom of the kill switch.

Make sure you wire in the correct resistor as well, otherwise you will fry your alternator if you turn the engine off via the kill switch.l
