My mate has a 1.216v clio and wants to lower it how low can he go on the standard shocks.

Cheers Peeps

60mm is bit to much dont know how many thousand miles the shocks would last and how the handling would be. You should be able to get some spring ans uprated shocks for a decient price Demon Tweeks do adjustable shocks and 35mm drops for £300.

I would say any more than 30mm on normal shock is fine as that about what the car drops when its loaded with stuff in my experiance with no problems

But if budget is a prob do what im doing, slam it 60mm on springs for now and buy the shocks seperatly when you can afford them.

apparently the standard shocks are good for at least 12 months use with a 60mm drop. Has he got new wheels or the standard ones? im going for 60mm when my free insurance is up.
