HELP! New fault light and limited speed.

This light appeared on my dash last night. Never been on before.
Now when I drive, the car won't reach speed properly, and is definitely limited. When i come to a standstill, the car feels like it's about to stall and I have to keep the accelerator pressed to keep the car running.

Does anyone know what's wrong with it please

Never thought last night but we could of put my rstuner on today and read the codes!!

I have the same fault light, says its an emitions light.

that's the engine management light.

fault could be a number of things. get in on a diagnostic check and see what faults are shown.

it's in the garage today anyway getting checked over. i'll report back when i know what's wrong with it

Theyre £80 ish aren't they?

Coils are £40 each, its only one normally thats goes!

yeh mate, it was the sensors this time.
i'm just pretty skint at the moment.
anyhow, the car is all sorted and back on the road with new sensors.
