Help no Car

Car went in for CAM belt to be replaced two weeks ago.

Thought all would be good but then told it would be a good idea to get the CAMS and pulleys changed as well. Taking this advice thought it would be a good idea.

Then i am told that one of the pipes need replacing and had to come ova from France. This got me a little anoyed as this was last Monday. I then Hearon thursday that they had sent a pipe from a 172 or sumit and that it was the wrong size and had to weight for another on to come. I was also told that i needed to new front tyres as mine were pretty bad.

I was suppose to get the car back yesterday and still have got no car. I am getting lifts into work with my mum.

This job is now gona cost me upwards of £450 and really not happy as you can probably tell.

Just needed to get this off my chest.

Its annoying when youve got no car aint it?! Why did they say the cams needed to be replaced? That sounds like a fairly big job?

u havent just aggreed to let them change tyres and stuff have u?? they will rape u sideways then sell anything they can on and charge u loads

sounds like they are trying 2 take the piss, 1 thing after another

nah i knew the tyres needed replacing they were just a lot worse than i first thought.

aparently the cams and pulleys looked worn so they said they would replace them. Its my dads mate so i wouldnt say he would take the piss. he does all my servicing for my car.
