Help... PC Fooked?? (pic)

Sorry for poor quality pic, I've got a high res one if anyone wants it.

A mate has been having problems when booting up, it just gets stuck on this page until they hit F1. After that its seems to work ok.

Can anyone shed any light/help?

The 80 conductor cable warning simply means you're using an REALLY old ide cable which should ideally be changed.

he needs to use a different class. its looks pretty much the same, but has more wires in it

or change the settings in the bios to make it go slower

This all started the other night after a storm kill the power.. No new hardware installed.

Does the cable need replacing?

maybe, but its a bit weird if you havent touched it. try goin into the bios and checking the settings - press delete

try just goin in and saving the current setings
