Help Please! Bad acceleration :(...

Hi all, I have a 1.2 16v 06 campus and ive noticed it has really bad acceleration it will barely do 15mph up a slight hill in 2nd my engine management light is on and i have been told it could be my exhaust valve (as my plugs have been changed)... ive been told it could cost over £500 to get it fixed, is this true? or has any1 else got any suggestions please?

Who told you this? was it Reno?

Has it been on a diagnostic machine?

What colour is the service light etc.

Possible Lambda sensor/coils or a problem with the plugs though i dont think they would throw a light.

Maybe they borked the coils (assuming they are those wick pencil ones) when the plugs went on.

Based in south wales...

its going on a diagnostic machine tommorow, but i thought id post on here for any suggestions 1st....
ive been told it could be a coilpack problem aswell though and no this was told by a local garage, the car is completly standard although i couldnt tell you what coils are on there.
