ok my valver's oil temp guage doesnt seem to be working at the mo by this I mean it never moves off 40


can anyone suggest a fix on this as i really want to sort this a.s.a.p

as long as you give it time to warm up before using any high revs (5-10 mins depending on how cold outside) and it's not getting too hot or smelly, probably just a loose connection.

I think about 70-90 is about normal.

check the sensors connector on the front of the block,the pins can corrode

As chris said failing that a 2nd hand temp sensor

Temp sensor is located on the front of the block just on the o/s of the oil filter

thanks guys will check all that tomorrrow wernt to sure see what to check

think the temp sensor is buggard checked the conections on the temp senor and the dash and its not either will buy a new one and see if that sorts it
