My clio MK3 2002 doesnt start every so often..
basically, i'd be sitting there in the car with the mrs and then we'd "try" and move off but the starter motor switches on but the engine doesnt start (like a diesel lol) does anyone know whats up? its really embarassing and it takes ages to get it starting. Thanks

Possibly the TDC pick up. Fits on top of the gearbox close to the engine. Bit fiddly to get to but if you disconnect the plug and then re-connect it when it doesn't start, and then it does start, you have found the problem.
