help please!!!

hi yall....ive fitted a new battery to my sport but have put the wrong code in on my stereo, now the thing says error...is there anyway of getting round this myself before taking it too renault and let monkeys loose on my car?? i tried disconnecting the battery for a short time but to no avail..do you think i should disconnect for a few hours??? this is the standard stereo with the car.

Just leave it be, if you put the wrong code in it will time bar you from trying again.

See what it's like in the morning.

It should mention it in the radio book with your manual.

The renault radios have a time out feature. After enterign the wrong code you need to leave them switched on for a set amount of minutes.

Each wrong entry, doubles the entry time out.

2mins 4mins 8 mins etc.... (iirc)

I had to leave mine on for an hour once!! oops lol
