I am looking for a bit of advice, i currently own a 1.2 clio k reg and i am looking to upgrade the engine to something bigger and more powereful, could anyone please give me advice on how i could go about getting and fitting the engine, and what else would need to be done to accomadat this new engine, cheers guys.

any idea how much bigger ond more powerful ? sometimes its easier to sell your car and buy one higher up in the range, that way you get the performance without wasting lots of money and having the hassle of an engine swap

Yes you can buy an Rsi or a valver fairly cheaply now. Dropping in a bigger engine costs money, and with your car being a 1.2 you will have to uprate the rear brakes etc and it starts to cost a lot of cash . When you come to sell the car, people are apprehensive of buying something thats been altered too much. As 172loony above says, sell it and buy a quicker car.

Can get a valver for under 3k and they seem insurable for 19 year olds upwards, bargain!
