Bought a new (imported but uk registered) 172

the car has ebs (traction control) and a six cd changer but i thought u only got a changer on a uk model ?

this may sound crazy but iam having it green flag tested b4 i buy although its new

its costing £12100 and they say the warranty is only for 6 months but renault main dealers may honour a 2 year 1 ?

What pitfalls should i look out for on an imported 1 they say it has a certificate of complience.

iam travelling a long to buy it so any tips on what to ask 4 b4 i set off !

on a different subject has anyone heard of a garage called ron skinner and sons in South wales?

My clio is an import and gets full uk warranty.as yours has cd etc etc so is yours.If your garage wont give you full uk trimings then walk away.There are simply dozens that will honour an importIf its good enough for one then its good enough for all

Dont accept any crap,there just trying to fob you off...

They r giving me the trimming i.e. spec wise but just say that they cant garantee the warranty will be honoured by main dealers but they say it may be ?

I could take out a further warranty nearer my home if i wanted and still save money



what do u think i just want to make sure iam not buying a dodgy car
