Help!!.PS4 or Xbox??

Been thinking for a while now but cnat decide on which one!.so many good deals out at the moment.

I would like the Xbox as its got Forza but then the PS has GT!!.

As above really, depends on which exclusives appeal the most to you.

I would also take the controllers into consideration, some people just don’t get on with one or the other for various reasons.

I found using the ps controller after the Xbox an ass. It’s easy peasy now but the Xbox controller is better laid out.

PS s***s on Xbox for exclusives, although the power of the X vs the Pro is tempting.

Uncharted, Last of Us, Bloodborne, Nioh, Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn etc etc.

I think Xbox got that game with the guy from X-Men in it, the Dragon game got cancelled, Crackdown 3 is still nowhere to be seen - but they'll probably have Halo 27 soon.

If racing games are your thing though, Forza is streets ahead of all the rest in terms of just being a fun game.

The ps4 has more exclusives and timed exclusive content due to the bigger user base. I've always had a PlayStation and games like uncharted, the last of us and horizon are bloody great. I've never touched an xbox controller so I can't say if xbox is better or worse but unless you have a 4k TV and surround sound I wouldn't be swayed by console specs, they play games and TV and look good enough.

Can't say I've an issue with updates on the ps4. What do you mean exactly?

Subjective really. I got an XBone last year and returned it because of all the ads in the menus.

PS is pretty plain and straight forward in comparison IMO.

Well had a look at some deals in Game today and PS seems to have the best deal for me as i would get the new Cod WW2 and GT sport for £200,but we still have cyber monday coming up

GT Sport is crap. I wouldn't miss Forza 7 or Horizon 3 to play that lazy release. You only get a quarter of the game in GT Sport! Also there are regular new releases of Forza and Horizon games (Horizon 4 no doubt comes out a year from now) where as GT games have huge gaps between them.

I have a PS4 Pro and an Xbox One X.

If it was a choice between the base models I'd get the base PS4 but driving game fans really need both. I don't think Xbox-only is a sensible option though due to missing out on some other exclusive titles and poorer graphics in third party games.

It's more difficult with the premium models. Most of the games I play are third party titles and the XO-X smokes my Pro on 3rd party games. But then I wouldn't want to miss stuff like Horizon Zero Dawn or TLOU 2. Of course Red Dead 2 will be way better on the X.

People looking at premium consoles probably have a few bob as they likely have money for a UHD HDR TV too. So I'd say definitely get both if you are in that market.

Fair point. I've been a Sony man since the PlayStation one so struggle with change...
The other thing that swayed me in the beginning was it was an entertainment centre ie dvd blue Ray player. Plus the ps3 had free online play too.

I did actually use to have a PS4 but only bought that as most from work had one,so was ideal for online gaming with GTA.
Only reason to go xbox is for Forza really,so im thinking of just going back to PS4 & see if i can get a good deal on cyber monday.
