HELP!...removal of k tec carbon door pillars

Have got these door pillar things on my car but after 2 years they have faded so much i want to take them off. I spent six hours yesterday getting one off. They leave a thick layer of double sided tape behind. Anyone got any super ideas for removing this sticky sh1t?

You can get sticky stuff remover (it is actually called this) from Robert Dyas or somewhere like that. It is made from natural fruit juice and it seems to remove this sort of stuff, never used it on paintwork though so best off testing a hidden area.

wd40 should remove any adhesive left behind .

my idea as well ..............use the hair dryer to warm up the glue and pull away slowly

when i took mine off i used boiling kettles first then i used bug and tar remover .Worked a treat
