help starter motor help

basicaly the red wire with the spade connecter on the end that connects to the starter has been siting on my manifold an burnt away what type of wire should i use to replace this and were can i get it from help

Anything the same thickness. just snip it off just before the f**ked bit and solder the new wire to it and then shrink wrap it after, job done.

Or..

Replace the whole wire (i wouldnt bother)

Edit: and when i say same thickness wire, i mean the inside of the cable (the wire it self) not just the outside.

do u know where i can get some wire from? (halfords) can i use amp power wire? and where do i get shrink wrap from sorry if i sound dumb
