HELP steering column on my 16v

Hi everyone im new here, I am getting a new steering column for my 16 valve as I have quite a bit of play in the steering and I think its in the UJ on the steering column, dont know if this is a common fault. I was wondering if anyone could explain how I change the steering column? is it very easy? and if anyone knows of any sites that could help me through it that would be great.

Just weld it up, takes about 10 minutes and costs £20 tops.

do a search, i had the same problem on my 16v and welded it. was perfect after.

took the steering column out took it to work this morning, welded it and put back in, PERFECT..... cheers for the help guys, saved me a bit of money.
