help with Bottom end

just took the car to the garage cause there was still a knocking from when my cambelt snapped and i had to have my pistons straighten new gasket etc etc. now there telling me its the crankshaft or something thats knocking and that they suggest getting a new bottom end. I expect this is going to be costly as my piston work cost me £800! is there any point in doing this? Feel like crap now cause the car is just dying, how easy is it to put a 1.6 engine in these?

i dont know what that is but its nothing like my 1.6 16v engine in my clio!!

Buy a new 1.2 16v engine for £200 odd! Adam Hodge has one for sale, PM him.
The engine on ebay is a 1.2 16v
