Help with buying my clio please :)

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a clio 182, I've found one at my local garage that i love.

It's done 42,000 '04 54 plate
Racing blue with powder coat white wheels
Milltek exhaust
Eiback lowering springs
Ktec front strut brace

There's a few problems with the interior, nothing serious, for example the plastic cover has come off the passenger seatbelt....

It's advertised at £6495

So I was just wondering, A) is this a reasonable price B) Are there any things specific to these clios that i should look to check?

I've done all the obvious (oil, brake discs, engine bay, test drive, check for engine sounds, rattling etc) and I've done a background check which was clear.

Any advice welcome....

Is it a cup a normal 182 or a 182 FF ??? That will tell you if its expensive or not.

Cambelt/Aux done? Expensive job. Should be done at 72K or 5 years (which ever first)

Yes Cup is the poverty spec one, FF has all the toys-

Apparently you should check the speedo goes up to 160.

There is a buyers guide but will require registration, loads of things to check really. As for price I'd be having a look in the for sale section on here, PH and Trader etc. Then come to a conclusion if you think it's reasonable. Personally I've seen a few Trophy's come down in price of late and would have thought you can get a 182 for less than that if you search around.
