I recently bought an iCarsoft i907 OBD2 reader and plugged it in. My car has been running fine, perhaps a bit rough, but is clearly running rich as there's a strong smell of fuel. I had a mechanic come and take a look at it last week to help sort a misfire and he said that my post-cat Lambda sensor is failing but hasn't thrown a fault code yet. There is no EML on or any warning lights at all. After pressing the OBD2 diagnose it says there's no faults, but when going to diagnose, choosing the car and going through it manually I see some faults come up, maybe because they haven't caused an EML they dont come up at first? Anyway, here are the faults that come up, and the DTC Status:
DF066: Injection multiplexed emission missing. DTC Status: Active
DF153: Multiplexed network, apply multiplexed network fault finding procedure DTC Status: Active
DF024: Vehicle speed sensor circuit DTC Status: (empty, can someone explain why the status would be empty?)
DF058 - Downstream oxygen sensor circuit DTC Status: (Empty)
DF308: Bi-mode air inlet solenoid valve DTC Status: (Empty)
DF176: Airbag missing multiplexed information DTC Status: (Empty)
DF128: Vehicle speed not available DTC Status: (Empty)
DF010: Mixing motor circuit DTC Status: (Empty)
DF021: Recycling motor circuit DTC Status: (Empty)
Can someone tell me what any of these actually mean? I assume DF058 means the post-cat lambda sensor, but not sure about any of the others. I've also read that the post-cat lambda sensor only does readings and doesn't actually affect the fuelling of the car and if so wouldn't help the fact that it is running rich if I were to replace this. Is anyone able to help with this?
