Help with HIDs!!

In desperate need of someone who knows what they are doing with HIDs to give me a talk through setting them up. Heres the stage I'm at. I ordered my lights from carmodshop.co.uk I done the bulb checker on there website and it came back as H1 so I went ahead and ordered them but I noticed as I was removing the old lights on them it had written H7, I wasn't sure how much of a difference this would make so I proceeded with installation. I had my friend with his tools take the bumper off to get at the lights( if this is possible without, how? I'm now in the position whereby the bulbs are in and working but not secured at at all, and has a horrible beam pattern due to every bump I go over they bounce around. The company is swapping the light bulbs for a H7 pair but I can't be doing with the hassle of getting the lights out and whatnot again if there is a quick easy of doing so! Any help would be much appreciated as I'm new to the French scene of awkward design!
