Help with my hidden amp install please?

  Audi TT 3.2 V6
Hi,

Started on my amp install this afternoon. Ive decided id like to put a wooden panel at the side of the boot and have the amp mounted on the back of it so that it is hidden.

So far ive cut out a panel to the size required -

It does fit better than it looks, when the panel is pushed back as far as it can go its a very snug fit.

The problem i have is that my amp (JBL 75.4) is too deep to have the wood pushed back as far as it can go and mounted on the back so needs to be spaced, i have cut a bit of card a little depper than my jbl to show roughly how big a spacing i need.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how i could space the panel securely in the position i need?

As you can see in the photo below i would also need to fill the gaps left around the edge so that the amp is out of sight. Anyone have any suggestions how i could do this as well?

Thanks alot,

Use another piece of plastic covering the amp, installing the piece above to the wheel arch.

fibreglass mate! glass the side wall of the boot and then secure the wood using right-angle brackets then stretch fabric over the whole lot and staple/glue down and then resin that with a few layers and maybe add some more fibreglass matting over the thin/vulnerable parts!

Done!
