Help with pics plz

I borrowed a friends camera while he's away, just used it to take some pictures. But all the pics are saved as .CR2 ??

How do I convert them, as I can't open them as they are.

Did try a program off the net, but it won't let me convert them without leaving a watermark on the image, 'cos it's a demo version.

GRRRR!!

Any ideas?

Tried finding the canon camera software online?

It was shot in RAW format then, you need a RAW to JPG converter.

Photoshop has one, as does Lightroom.

How do I get it to take them in a normal format?

Change it from RAW to ....
