Help with replacing Cv boot joint..

  Clio
Hi i managed to damage the outer cv boot joint on the passenger side on my 1.2 clio, i have got a replacement part and have striped off the old one but am having difficulty replacing it with the new one.

Will i have to completely take off the drive-shaft? and if i do uno it what can i expect? loads of grease to pour out?

Pic below is the inner part of the drive-shaft.

Any help would be great.

Yeh, unless you want to put a crappy velcro one on it's a drive shaft out job - worth the extra effort though. Not too difficult

if you want to remove it, then just drop the gearbox oil out and undo to the 3 13mm bolts to remove the shaft
