help with spacers?!

am hopefully goin 2 build a semi 172 replica....
bumpers, skirts, wings, i realise that on my 1.4 dynamique i will need to lower it and get spacers.
can sum1 explain spacers 2 me please, can i put them on before lowering?? or do i hav 2 lower before i put spacers in??
also how much will this cost 2 buy them and to fit??

you can fit the yourself mate, i did mine at the weekend. Tis a 10 minute job! Just take off the wheels you want to put the spacers on, put the spacer on then put the wheel back on. Job done. I bought mine from Haz for a tenner so they aint expensive.

Hmm im not sure really, depends on if you change all the bumpers etc, but you can always buy 4, try them, if you dont need say two of them, sell them, someone will be looking for some. Also i think you will probably want to go for 5mm ones,well thats what i have, but might be different for you so dont hold me to that!!

You buy them in 2's usualy wheather you need all 4 is difficult to say for sure you usualy don't though.
