There is a light on the dash that is coming on, in the owners manual says its the light for the fuel pre-heating (diesel) which should go off once the fuel system is ready to start... I have a petrol Clio this light comes on intermittently when this light comes on the car still runs however it has no power and if you try to push the accelerator any further its almost like its flooding/dying. Turn the ignition off and back on again and the light goes off.
