Set off to work today, still in first gear, must of been going about 1-2mph, came off the gas and my car was still moving
Wasnt slowing and I wasnt going downill. Isnt the first time its happened!
Any1 else had this?

Wasnt that cold. What does auto choke do and why would it make the car keep going?

yup i have this a lot, was bizarre when it first happened but then i recalled it was a renault so expect the bizarre

Yep Ive driven 2 1.2s and they both do the same sometimes when its cold and choke is on u can do it in 2nd aswel.

you mean you were still in gear at the time? it will keep moving as the ecu attempts to idle the engine at the correct speed so if you let of the throttle it would just keep going when the revs were around idle speed.did you expect it to stall?. it doesnt know your still in gear.
