Hesitation

My new 182 has started hesitating when its cold, feels like its misfiring or somethin, but goes after a few minutes. Anyone else had this problem? Cant be bothered going back to dealer yet, not had it 3 weeks yet and its been in twice for the brakelight switch. The start of things to come?

Is there ever a day where nobody has a problem with a 172/182? Thats all i seem to hear on here. No offence

the cold start seems a bit over active in my opinion. the 172/182 seem to run a bit too rich for the first miniute in the morning. causing it to hesitate slightly, doesnt last long. i live with it.

I dont think this problem is present in ony Clios...same happens with the Rex, the Porker and the Polo when its cold. Ony car that doesnt hesitate at all is the Ford KA :D

Guess its just something you live with

Its the KDC sensor. I had mine done under the warranty.

I knew it wasnt right and they were saying its supposed to be like that ...but it seemed abit to severe to me so i took it to another dealer and they sussed it straight away ... replaced it .. and now its sweet :D

Thanks for the info covkid, ive booked it in for Monday, ill tell em if they say theres nowt up with it;). Ill also tell em not to stick it through the drive in carwash like last time

Got the car back yesterday. No mechanical faults they said. Did comp. check and reset fuel injection? I have to see how it goes. Pulling out of work last night, surprise, surprise, exactly the same. Has any one else heard of this KDC sensor before i take it back????? :(

I think the poster meant the TDC or top dead center sensor which can be a failing point on the 172/182s
