can you actaully get wheel bearings that are better then standards ones

i know is sounds stupid but there must be some proformance ones out there

like for example less friction ones etc

please help

Nope, renaults eat wheel bearings esp lowered ones, im going through them pretty fast, replaced 4 in just over a year, differnt wheels tho

Same here.. replaced 3 so far and the 4th im starting to hear on really hard cornering.

What noise do you get? A knocking from the rear outside wheel when cornering?

Humming when driving straight.

Cornering often actually makes the noise vanish.

yeah thats what i got Chris i hope it aint doing any damage to connecting parts

if you leave the bearing too long , it can start to spin on the shaft , resulting in a new hub

go to a bearing shop or specilists taking a bearing with you if you can, they should be able to help you.

i gonna take it to the garage this sat already told him i reckon its the bearing

so i hope he checks the hub is it quite a noticable thing
