I live in Ellesmere Port, 7 miles from chester. Most people don't know where it is, so it's easier to say near Chester. Was working in malpas yesterday! I'm a joiner.

I'm using BTT tomorrow, but they're in Wigan so a bit of a trek from Chester.

I did use Birchdown in Malpas, off recommendations here some years ago on a 172 Cup.

Working in malpas today, at the race horse stables, thought I'd seen how far away birchdown actually is. It's only on the road/Lane. So popped in, @2 week waiting list.

Had service done at Birchdown, a couple of weeks after this post, and belts, waterpump, clutch and gearbox sorted about 3 weeks ago. Highly recommend these guys, had a minor hiccup initially, but the sorted everything professionally and promptly. They were excellent.
It's an absolute joy not to have 3rd and 4th gear crunching anymore. Once again, thank you very much, Birchdown.
