Hi all, newbie question

Hi all, sorry if my question has been asked a million times before but its my first day on the site and my navigation skills aren't up to scratch yet!!

I am currently looking for a 2002/2003 172 and I am wondering if there is anything in particular I should look out for when viewing, ie, whats the cambelt service schedule, etc.

Cambelt change on a 172-182 is 72K or 5 years whatever comes first.

Cambelt prefreably earlier than 72k.

Check the gearbox oil, they normally leak a little. The cats normally break into pieces aswell.

Also check the brake calipers on older models.

I have a beautiful 172 that is in excellent condition, took me a long time to find it. It has been owned by a lady for 99% of its time and used as a family run around. It is fully loaded with every toy!

The car is 100% standard, with full Renault dealer service history, two owners since new.
41K on the clock
Suede leather sports seats

Standard 16" alloy wheels with x2 brand new Goodyear eagle F1 tyres
New high carbon Brembo discs

172bhp, 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds very quick!
MOT till May 2007, tax till end of November 2006

Condition:
There is not one single scratch or blemish on the exterior of the car, the interior shows only little wear from its two careful owners. The previous owner was a lady who used it as a family run around for 4 years. The car drives 100% perfect as you would expect. The Clio was last serviced @ 37k with fully synthetic oil.

The lady i bought it off said that she wanted the top spec clio with leather, 16" alloys and AC, and the only way to get all of the above was to buy a 172.

She sold it beacuse she was expecting a 3rd child and didnt have the room.

Took her ages to take out all her cuddly toys from the back shelf! ha ha

Cus she said it was used as a family run around i was expected loads of tesco dings, but there are none!
