hello everyone im new to this forum just thought id say hello, i havent got anything as nice as any of your cars but ive just brought a Renauly Clio 1.4 16v expression in blue 51 plate nothing too flash but im sure i can make it with the help of you good people look something awesome

i dont personally like those alloys, but its still a very nice looking car!!

I've just checked my car out on there, just out of interest. It says my car is a 1.6 RL. Excuse my ignorance, but what's an RL? I have never heard of one of those, apart from the fact they've got it wrong as mine's a Dynamique +. :S

Lol don't blame the messenger Debz! It sometimes gives funny results for imports, it reckons my mates golf is a Grey saloon when its a silver hatchback, and Golf saloon would be a Bora lol. I would try the RAC one and see what that says, but yours is an import too isn't it?

No blame matey. I looked it up on the RAC one before and it came up as an RL then too. I've just looked on the registration document and it also says it's an RL, although my sales invoice definitely says Dynamique +. It is an import yes, and won't come up on Renault computers without all the numbers on the VIN plate, not just the VIN number. lol

RN is maybe just what they refer to the model then in its country of origin. Aslong as all the paperwork tallies up the I wouldn't worry too much, doesn't sound like you thinking of selling it in the near future anyways.
