Hi All

Car  Inferno 182 & Saxo
Hi there I'm Andy and I've just purchased a 2005 Inferno Orange 182. I want to get the aux/cambelt done asap so can anyone recommend a place in the midlands who will do it for a good price and do it right mainly. Money isn't really a concern, I'd do the job myself but I'm not familiar with procedure having only worked on pug 8v engines!

many thanks

Andy

Welcome along mate, as said above details of where you are for help but your on the right tracks getting the belts done asap :)

I'm from Wolverhampton so anywhere close to that would be good. Can someone tell me the interval for cambelt too please? Is it every 36k like the aux belt?

Ill get it done at the same time then I reckon, no point in doing a job twice. Can someone give me a ball park figure cost wise?

There's a place in wednesbury if that's any good to you, let me know where you get it done and if they do a good job please mate, I'm Cannock way myself. Welcome to cs too

Just ordered myself up a Scorpion cat-back exhaust for this as the standard one (which I assume is original) sounds ropey when I boot it

Fred's based in Birmingham. Birchdown in Cheshire.

They are the only 3 people i let touch my car.

I had the belts done by four ashes renault in wolves. I should be good to handle most other things on the car hopefully, fitting this exhaust on the weekend providing the old one doesn't fall off beforehand, its got gradually worse making that whoosing/sucking sound so its probably riddled with holes.
