Hi just picked up the below 172 on the weekend, so far seems a good little run around 
although I have already run into a couple issues.... Firstly the solenoid to open the boot has failed so I've had to buy a new one, looks like the exhaust hangers are on their way out inc heat shields soon and pretty sure the engine mounts will need doing soon.... Anyway my question is this, im going on a 2100 mile trip of Europe soon and want to make sure everything is up to scratch! Other than a service is there anything else worth checking/replacing ? Im thinking I may replace all the shocks as its done 85k so their prob on their way out
Finally under acceleration the steering feels a little vague/floaty is this normal? Certainly doesn't feel planted anyway but perhaps I'm expecting too much lol
