Hi,
Always been a bit of a Vag nut but decided I'm going to branch out and see what else is out there! Looking for a nice 172 for around £1500 - £2000. I've never had one so I'm looking so some buying tips and things to look out for. Any advice would be appreciated, theres nothing worse than buying a lemon!
Had a browse over the forum and there's some properly nice motors on here!

Yeah the mini has been my favourite by far! I was weighing up having another but I'm looking for something faster plus need something reliable. Like I say any advice on the 172s would be great, I'm a total newb to renault!

Just make sure that the belts have been done (with receipts to prove) and by a reputable garage if possible!

Yeah i read they were expensive to do. Are clutches a big problem? I heard they have a tendency to go.
