Hi everyone, I've just bought a 2002 172 sport in silver. Got a lot to do before I can really enjoy it. I'm really surprised at how quick they actually are. I have to do the dephaser and belts, new brakes, washer pump, rear wiper arms and a good clean. Plus my front indicator bulb plug is mangled.

You could trust Engine Dynamics in Kelvedon with that, though my personal preference is Diamond Motors in Long Eaton if you fancy a day out.

For road, a good quality OE refresh using Brembo and Renault discs, and Brembo oe pads and some fresh brake fluid would serve you well. I can supply those amongst others, and based In West Yorkshire

I use engine dynamics in kelvedon for all the work on my 200. They’re a very proffesional outfit.

Keep an eye out for the Essex meets. We have a regular one at North Weald airport on Sunday mornings. Decent place to grab some breakfast and watch the planes take off.
