Hi from Australia

  RS200. RS182.
Hi to all on ClioSport.net! Very informative forum indeed!

I've been bitten by the Clio bug. Bought my RS200 20th Anniversary back in 2010... and this weekend I shall be taking a 1hr flight down south to pick up a mint Arctic Blue 182! :D
182s are few and far between in this country...particularly mint ones.

Have been trawling treads over the last few days... getting some inspiration and seeing some unreal setups! :hail: Very nice work to all.

Welcome! Looking forward to some pics!

How much did you pay for it? I feel sorry for the Aussies and their car prices!

DB - yes we get stitched up on new cars here. govt taxes and all. a new RS200 cup RRP $39k. a decent 182/182 cup will go from anywhere between $12-15k.

Levaz - no doubt! Renault has really grown over here in Australia...imo, the RS250 really helped the brand. i THINK i recall seeing, Renault had the highest sales growth out of all manufacturers last year.

There are only 30 of these in Australia. I happened to get the last one when I bought it. My fav no is 17... this happened to be plaque no 17! FATE.

£26,500 for a new RS200 Cup, Ouch!!

I know the equivalent of my car, that I could probably sell for about £9k here, sells for about £17k in Australia.

might have to export my 172 come sale time!

Taxes and import costs make it not worthwhile. I'd have only received a similar amount to export mine as I would for selling it after all the costs, it did cross my mind! lol
