  Vauxhall Vectra CDi
Hi, being totally honest I joined looking for help with Dads clicking Clio. In the meantime I've read a lot of the intros and I can feel myself getting the bug already.
I'm contemplating a self build camper and seeing the 172 Kangoo has really inspired me. The Maxi could be a perfect compromise as an all rounder and with a decent engine a dream machine.

As I said hoping for some help or insight into the following problem. Mk11 52 plate 1400 Automatic. Dad has started and driven it up and down the drive once a week for 15 minutes since lockdown but last week it would not turn over.
It unlocks with a positive clunk on turning the key to position 2 all lights come on as they should inc immobiliser which then goes off as it should and the fuel pump primes. On the final turn to pos.3 just a single click from a relay front left corner. All dash lights and gauges behave as normal, and all other electrical items work as they should. Including the brake lights.( see next comment)
*Also I cannot take it out of park* I think this might be very relevant?
So far I have tried
Jumping it.
Charged the battery over night, Then tested 12.8v at rest.
Manually released the gear lever from park several times.
Put a jump lead from Neg to engine,
Checked every fuse I can find both visually and for continuity
Visually checked all relays under the bonnet they all have clean bright spades
Swapped starter and (fuel pump I think ) relays over and the pump still primed. But still nothing beyond a clicking relay.
I read there is a relay that can get kicked under passenger dash footwell. I have traced with my hands the loom from centre to fuse box and to bulkhead and felt around the whole area but cannot find a relay there at all, and besides it could not have been kicked in any case.
1 week later the battery is showing 12.48v at rest and I am getting the same 12.48v between the block and the Neg batt post.
Any suggestions on what else to try or recommendations for a good Auto electrician or Clio specialist locally, would at this point be most welcome..
