Hi, from one of the Lotus at Spa

Just a quick post to say hello to those of you I met at the Nurburgring and Spa this week. Hope you enjoyed the few days there as much as I did and that those that went out in our little plastic toys werent too disappointed....

Its nice to see some cars out with some proper mods, rather than the more usual Max Power tat, although the chap I saw at the Dorint loading his hifi that needed two people to lift, might want to think what THAT does to the 0-60.... ;) - but I guess youd expect kind of view from a Lotus driver !

Finally thumbs up to y0z2a for getting some blistering performance from his 1.2. Truly Remarkable.

Cheers,
Phil.

Think a good time was had by all!

The lotus were amazing an can definately see why they are so popular at track days!

Therre was a good mix of cars at the ring and spa, every1 was happy to mix well. The way it should be.

Hardly dissappointing!!!! the trip round Spa in Martins Elise was awsome, never thought Id see an Elise eating GT3s and everything else on track, altho I suppose it helps that hes slightly insane. ;)

LOL - and you only met him briefly, we have to put up with at all our events....

Laugh of the day was watching him chase down one of the Ultimas and follow him through the corners with the front of his car UNDER its spoiler - and the bu99er still didnt let him go

Cheers,

Phil.

Hi Phil,

Welcome to our humble forum. ;)

I certainly enjoyed my run out in iwilsons Elise R. Certainly the most impressive and focused track car I got a run in at the weekend.

Im just putting together my video from the weekend.

Any idea who had a Silver X plate Elise, as I let him passed a fair few times? He was really flying.

Please ignore the guy with the speakers, we do. ;)

Plans are already afoot for the next one, and I pick up the semi slicks ready at the weekend. :D

Hi Phil, Good to see some cross manufacturer camaraderie between us, much better than the usual your car is faster than mine.

I had a fantastic time and loved every minute. I have the video of me chasing an elise for 2 laps and I wish we knew who it was, i really enjoyed it.

Some of your cars were dead fast!

Hope to see you there next time!
