Hi to all, Registered the other day as it looked like one of the best places for clio gossip although it seems the majority of you lot have 172 up so if i'm on the wrong forum for my little 1.2 mk 2 clio show me the door..

Any way if any one could help me i'd be very greatful.. basically i'd like to know if a set of clio 172/182 rear lights would fit my mk 2 ( 98-01 ) with out any modifications as well as the wirring

Thanks,
James

they will need re-wiring (not sure of the location of the diagram - will have a look 4 u) but apparently its not that hard

but yes they can be fitted

Thanks, I've got a haynes manual for it so hopefully i'll use that for assistance, can't see it being to difficult to rewire the lights.. I hope.. basically the reason for the upgrade is i'm trying to freshen the look up as i plan to keep it for 1-2 years, so far i've given it a good clean inside & out as the previous owner had only every put it through the car wash & must of never cleanned it in side.. good old dash shine & back to black on the bumpers have done wonders for it.. my latest mod was a set of original 1.4 16v sport alloys of a 54 plate clio ( 15" inch not the 16" ) so for £200 including 4 tyres with over 6mm on all & fitted to the car i payed £200 total, good old ebay ;) look so much nicer than steels & the handling is great now too so the final mod will be a set of the new shape clio lights to finnish it off..
