Jesus, that thread is awesome to go by, I'm going to use that when I go looking for a 1*2, very useful indeed! But I'm hoping that nowa days people are actually looking after these gems of little cars and looking after them!

They are at a price now where people who don't look after cars (chavs) can afford them, so there are a lot of dogs about.

Also take your time, amazing how many dogs are out there, particularly at dealers it would seem.

If "tasteful" means a matte black wrap or a car bra run a mile, if "tasteful" is a KTec stealth stainless catback (hidden exit like the standard exhaust) I'd go for it.
Protruding exhaust are a no-no on the 172 though

If its been done by Prospeed and properly cut into bumper with the exhaust surround...then it looks spot on. Danevo has it on his Monaco 172 and it looks how it should from the factory.
