Hi

  Clio 172 gocart :)
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum. Moved work location closer to home so we didn't need two cars. That lasted three months as I've been itching to get another car. Well after some searching I came home with a Clio 172. The car is mainly to stop me from going insane the thought of not having one leaves me with a shiver. The other reason is that I can mess with it on the drive :) gonna need plenty of help and advice please. I had a 172 exclusive from new but sold it many years ago, or did I wrap it up? Hmmm not too sure lol :/
Not taken a car to bits or messed with anything for about 15 years.
Started with an oil change and filter.
Fixed the rear lights with a spare from the scrap yard
Fitted an induction kit
Looking at wheels, coilovers and going to change the plugs when I work out how to get at the buggers.
Also bought a kit for the headlight lenses, not arrived yet.
Already has a stainless half system exhaust.

One careful owner.......17 owners ago
Mint..........battered really but it is a greeny silver colour
68k miles.........since last service
Tax and mot December.........2005

It is actually mega and more fun to drive than my last car. I forgot how ace they are:)
You lucky people.

Hi and welcome! To get at the plugs, you need to remove the inlet manifold, did mine a while back.
