HID Bulb questions

Am i right in thinking that the standard temperature is 4300k? Is it safe to put higher temperature bulbs in the clio headlights? Perhaps 6000k or 8000k. I noticed you can get 10000k and 12000k ffs. Overkill i think lol.

yep, ive got 8000k and they are very bluey, as long as the fitment is the same they will be fine as they are all 35w

Ok cheers. They must be really blue then cos my 4300's are very blue.
Hmmm might have to get some. Any reccomendation on where to buy?

I have 6K in mine they have a slight blue tinge but produce a good bright white light....

the clio xenon accept both as i think d2s and d2r are the same as it states both numbers on my bulbs

The higher k you go the less light output they give. I had 6000k, but eneded up with 50000, much better

ive got 8,000k, no probs, myne passed its mot last week,perfect pattern and beam

Aye hopefully....i just get on the ramp and no more there maybe 10mm of clearance for my Subframe and the rolling jack on the ramp lol ! :rasp:
