You will have to get the washers fitted too, cause for some reason its illegal in this country to not have washers if you have HIDs.

aye my mistake the ballast computer contols the voltage to the bulb and the starter pack provides the intial voltage boost to get the bulbs started.seeing as there is no automatic level adjustment then yes that kit is illegal to use. also dont xenon lights get a lot hotter than normal bulbs so in some cases you could also damage your headlight itself(specially some of the plastic lense type units)

no they are a lot cooler than normal halogen lamps

its just i dont see any disclaimer that they are for show use only?

no there not, that why some of the lamps have adjustable beam deflecters as part of the lamp unit instead of the stick on lense deflectors because there is the possibility that thay cause the plastic type headlight lenses to melt.

sorry but they are cooler cos there is no element that has to be heated 2500 degrees c to produce light

no but the gas inside the bulb has to get hot to produce the main part of the light.the electric jumping across the gap produces the intial light and the gas heating up produces the main light.you can see xenons change colour as the gas heats up when you first switch them on.they start off really blue then go bright white.

i just recieved an e-mail from the company and they seem to think that they are road legal and they are ok to fit into plastic lenss:D

The reason is light reflection/refraction imagine the glare caused dirty lamps.
