High Definition

I know this has been done to death, but went in a local Comet store the other day and noticed a couple of TVs were showing movies using high definition.

WOW, if thats what the movies look like, I cant wait for the football and sports packages! It was incredible, really awesome quality! Still dont really want to pay out £300 for a Sky box (have Sky+ at the moment) but I know I'll be getting HD sooner or later.

I finally gave in last week and ordered SKY HD, earliest install date is 9th September!

I almost ordered it yesterday, but I'm not paying out £300 for a bug filled first gen box with just 10 channels.

The biggest problem is once you've watched broadcasts in HD you'll hate standard def broadcasts.

I downloaded some hi def stuff for the 360 the other day to see how that looks. Not Sky digital looks really crap. That's the problem with new LCDs/Plasmas, they make standard TV look shite compared to a good CRT screen.

At least all my 360 games look the dogs.

I had installed on the first day and I love it

Havent really encountered any bugs as such, and yeah channel choice is limited. But the material just keeps getting better and better

HD World Cup was awesome. The BBC HD broadcasts are some of the best.

I want sky HD so bad, but same as above can't justify paying 300 notes for 10 channels...
