high pitched noise when going over 60mph

basicly when i go over 60mph i get a high pitched solid beep noise i can here it more when the windows open so im guessing its coming from the engine bay anyone els experienced this problem or anyone no wot it could be as its worrying me abit now thanks

Think this has something to do with a hole at the bottom of the driver side wing mirror

Don't some 1*2s have a speed 'limiter' thing that can be set to beep over a certain speed? I believe it can be disabled with CLiP/Pliers
My sisters fiat has a similar thing that beeps and flashes a message on the dash over 75mph.

im not sure mate i had a silver 172 befor this and it never did it it done it one night on motorway a few months back since then it stopped up untill a few weeks ago its been doing it every time i drive it

Push the pladtics by the wing mirror and reading light see if it changes note mine does ot at about 80+ its some air flow by the whole in the rear view mirror. Try some tape over it/ but some blue tac in it see what you can do.
